Background

• My artwork covers a wide variety of subject matters but primarily concentrates on a watercolour and digital portrait commission service.

• Currently based in Letchworth Garden City, I will take portrait commissions from all over the UK and abroad. 

• I have paintings in several private collections and my works have featured in exhibitions.

Details of Watercolour and Portrait Commission Service

Watercolour Portraits

• The watercolour portraits use professional paints on high quality paper to provide a lasting reminder of a loved one. I primarily work from good quality photographic images with profiles of a similar size to those indicated on the Gallery page.

• I am available for portrait commissions and details on how to request a commission are set out on the Portrait Commissions page. I enjoy the artistic challenge in seeking to accurately capture the way the people are.

• Having worked with watercolours over many years I use my extensive knowledge of this medium to accurately capture both the characteristics of the subject matter without sacrificing the looseness, spontaneity and transparency that watercolours can provide.

• I consider that a watercolour portrait can provide a warmth, subtlety of tone and variation of colour which cannot be achieved from photographs.

• The finished portrait painting is typically approximately 50cm high and 38cm wide. When framed will provide a unique addition to the interior of your home and provide a wonderful way of both celebrating and providing a lasting reminder of a loved one or a place of residence.

• I will aim to provide a friendly and professional service.

 Digital Portraits

• Details of the the digital portrait services which are available can be viewed on then introductory video on the sites Home Page. The digital images can be printed to A4 or A3 size.

Artwork and Prints for Sale

In addition to creating custom artwork I also create my own works of art and prints that are available for sale.
